From the gullet size and bar angle to the pommel shape, seat size, buckstitching and conchos, you can customize your saddle to create a one-of-a-kind western barrel saddle made specifically to your preferences.

Signature Aztec Tooling

This saddle features our signature Aztec tooling throughout the pommel, cantle, skirt and fenders. The detailed tooling gives this custom barrel saddle a distinctive western look while maintaining the classic style of a traditional leather saddle.

100% Leather Construction

This is an all-leather barrel saddle, making it heavier than our hybrid leather and suede rough-out saddles. The completed saddle weighs approximately 25 pounds.

The all-leather construction gives this saddle a traditional western appearance and substantial feel, making it an excellent choice for riders looking for a custom leather barrel saddle with standout detail.

Spinal Relief Tree

This custom barrel saddle includes a spinal relief tree designed with additional consideration for clearance along the horse's spine.

All of our saddles are constructed using a wood and fiberglass mixture tree for a combination of traditional construction and durability.

• Bar angle – Choose your preferred bar angle.
• Pommel shape – Select a round or square pommel.
• Seat style and size – Choose the combination that fits your riding preference.
• Border and buckstitching – Keep the saddle clean and simple or add a spot border and/or buckstitching in your favorite color.
• Conchos – Finish your custom design with your choice of conchos.

Choose Your Seat Depth

The pommel style you choose affects the approximate seat depth:

• Round pommel: approximately 5" seat depth
• Square pommel: approximately 7" seat depth

Choose the pommel and seat combination that best matches your preferred riding position and feel.

Matching Breastcollar Included

Every custom saddle comes complete with a matching breastcollar, giving your finished setup a coordinated, custom look.

Handmade Custom Saddle

Each custom Aztec tooled barrel saddle is handmade in Brazil specifically for your order. Because your saddle is custom built, please allow approximately 12–14 weeks after payment for production.

Production times are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Custom-made items require additional time because your saddle is built according to the specifications you select.
